The other morning I did something that always makes me nervous no matter how many times I do it. Make a phone call to someone I don’t know. I’m not sure why it makes me nervous, but my heart always starts to pick up the pace as I sit there waiting for the person to answer on the other end of the line. This particular phone call was made to my Local ABC station, WHSV Harrisonburg. I was calling to find out the day and time that they would be showing the Weaving Life Documentary. I was told that it will air Sunday October 21st, at 11:00 am. If you or any of your friends or family that live in and around Harrisonburg will be home during this time I encourage you to take an hour and watch this moving and inspiring story of the life of Dan Terry.
If you cannot watch it during this time there will be two local showings. The first one will be on Thursday October 24, at 4:00 p.m. at Eastern Mennonite University on Main Stage Theater, and the second will be Friday October 25, at 7:30 at Park View Mennonite Church.
For those of you who are not in the area you can find the local listings here. So far there have been 103 stations that are scheduled to show the film. If you cannot find your local station on the list I encourage you to give them a call, even if it makes you nervous, and ask about the Weaving Life Documentary, which is a part of the Interfaith Broadcasting Programs.
